Helder Antunes is a Portuguese-American executive and consultant.

With over 30 years of experience in the high tech industry of Silicon Valley, Helder has been crucial in the development of various technologies, initiatives, and programs in the Valley and in Portugal.
Currently, CEO of GDS360, Helder is going back to his roots in Cybersecurity and looking to grow the company much as he helped grow Cisco’s embedded security protocols to well over a Billion USD run rate.

Prior to GDS360, Helder held various executive roles at Cisco Systems, in San Jose and the San Francisco Bay Area, during the last 20 years, most recently as a Senior Director in Cisco’s Corporate Strategic Innovations Group. As a member of Cisco’s Chief Technology & Strategy Office, he was charged with aligning technology development and corporate strategy to enable Cisco to anticipate, shape, and lead major market transitions. He helped direct technology and operational innovation across the company and oversaw strategic partnerships, mergers and acquisitions and incubation of new technologies.

Before joining Cisco, Helder worked in various Silicon Valley startups. As a leader, he has earned a reputation for exceeding expected results through relentless and methodical execution and building exceptional teams to identify solutions that address complex global challenges.

Helder has also been instrumental in collaborating with the Portuguese government on several fronts and has assisted various Portuguese universities. He has also hosted a large number of Portuguese engineering interns in Silicon Valley, during the past 19 years.
